Choice Science Laboratory Internship (CSLI) program

The Choice Science Laboratory Internship (CSLI) program encourages high school students to pursue science, technology, engineering careers by providing research experiences at the UC Berkeley and Stanford University laboratories. Each of ten selected students will participate as interns appointed at one of our participating laboratories/facilities. Students will have the opportunity to perform research, under the guidance of five laboratory professionals including staff scientists or engineers, on projects supporting the CSLI mission.

Locations:

  1. UC Berkeley (Lawrence Berkeley National Lab)
  2. Stanford University School of Medicine (Biomedical Engineering Lab)
  3. Columbia University(Medicine)
  4. CRG-NJ(Computerized Medicine, Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Sciences and Nano Technologies)
Purpose: Learn research methods and reporting protocols that students can apply to their own individual research projects.
Research Subjects: Nano/Bio Engineering, Nano Chemistry, Nano Physics, Stem Cell, Cancer Detection, Biomedical Engineering, etc.

CLSI Programs

  • Our classes are organized into small sizes and specific subject matter areas
  • Teachers get to know each student's personality and academic interest
